Being aware of signs of ill health can help you catch potentially serious conditions early. Get your kitten checked up at the vets regularly and keep your pet insurance up to date.

Signs of illness
Your kitten should be alert, her skin pale pink and movements smooth.

If she displays any of the following, take her to the vet as soon as possible:

Loss of energy or appetite, vomiting or diarrhoea, coughing or difficult breathing, itching or sneezing, bleeding or discharge, shaking or limping, lack of appetite or excessive drinking, trouble urinating or constipation.

Avoid feeding her before the visit in case anesthetic is required and always follow any instructions the vet gives.
